Aphrodite of Milos better known as the Venus de Milo, is an ancient Greek statue and one of the most famous works of ancient Greek sculpture. Konica Minolta Sensing had an opportunity to use our Vivid series 3D non contact laser scanner to create an accurate 3D model of the statue. Our work was not only to preserve this treasure for future generations, but to also attempt to solve one of its greatest mysteries...What was the Venus de Milo's original pose?
