Doug Meet you'd like him. he was one of my bosses (the only one i liked) when i worked at Barrister's Gallery. We put together all the art for, like, three or four House of Blues New Orleans before your hometown boy, Isaac Tigrett, got bought out. Isaac used to show us materialized rings which his guru Sai Baba's Blessings (i don't think that's the right one--this Sai Baba had a big afro and unfortunately touched children) used to give him because Isaac gave him tens of millions of dollars to build hospitals and shit. this is when he was married to Ringo Starr's wife, the bond girl, Barbara Bach (that may not be her either). i used to have an incredible life, then Alan Boudreaux quit the gallery and then I did the next year. We used to hang out with Chef Voleo from K-paul's where I used to sit at the bar with all the celebs, like Mick Jagger's ex, Jerry Hall, etc. it was me and her and her sister, and if there had existed an iphone i would give anything to have recorded them gossiping at the bar. they have the best accents on earth--dallas meets london. ( i think i just made the biggest name-dropping post in my history, and that's saying something).
