Nasty? Sure. Nazi too?
The latest on Jezebel du jour Michelle Bombshell: She's a neo-Nazi white supremacist? So says TMZ. She has the letters "W P" on her shanks—reports say they stand for "White Power," but Michelle says "Wet Pussy." Also circulating is a photo of her refrigerator with magnet letters arranged to spell out "white power." And then there's an arresting photograph of her in a fetishy Nazi costume.
And now, a discussion on symbolism
About that Nazi pinup picture—it's actually one image from a series done by a photographer named Robert Alvarado. He has dressed up several different models in SS outfits, and he has also dressed models as American WWII flying aces, KGB agents, naval officers, pirates, cowboys, American Indians and Confederate soldiers. He has a serious costume fetish, and his images recall the classic pinups of Vargas and Elvgren. (Here's a sampling of his work and, yes, it includes a few Nazi shots.) Was Dyanne Thorne a Nazi because she made Ilsa, She-Wolf of the SS? Were the writers/directors/producers behind Ilsa and the wave of Nazi sexploitation films from the Seventies anti-semitic, or merely tasteless? Are some symbols so loaded and offensive that they can never be used again? The German government's answer: Yes and no. It outlawed any use of the swastika after World War II, but allowed exceptions for artists and filmmakers. We're not going to attempt to answer any of these questions—not really what we do on this page—but they're worthy of debate. And we're not saying Michelle Bombshell isn't a white supremacist. She may well be.
Back to business
Well we're done discussing that topic, but we're not done with Dyanne Thorne's boobs. Click here for great Dyanne Thorne nudity.

Nazis? WTF, Girlwatcher? Sorry, we just hate to see art—even tasteless art—used as "proof" of anything. A cheer-you-up video: "Boobies & Kittens." If you're down, boobies will cheer you up. Add kittens if necessary.

Very occasionally, the Soviet authorities backhandedly conceded the existence of the Fab Four; everyone of this generation remembers ''Starinki Avtomobil,'' by the Soviet group Vesyolye Rebyata (The Happy Boys), otherwise known as ''Baby You Can Drive My Car.'' Or the record ''Around the World,'' which included ''Debushka,'' or ''Girl,'' by ''a vocal instrumental group.''

A Taste of Russian Rock on WVKR
November 17th, 2009Last night, Professor Nikolai Firtich from Vassar’s Russian Studies Department, did an hour-long show on Russian and Soviet rock music, starting with groups from the 1970s and coming all the way up to the present. Playing records and CDs from his own collection to narrate this musical journey, Nikolai presented great insight on a music and culture that to most audiences are totally foreign. Check out some highlights, accompanied by Nikolai’s commentary, below.
Subversive Rock Music in Russian Cartoon Animation + Expert F. Khitruk and O. Tabakov and Original Composer and 'Voice' Andrei Mironov and Oleg Anofriev demonstrate cartoon voicing
"In Soviet Russia, Rock groups were not allowed to call themselves, 'Rock' Groups on ideological grounds (officially it was believed that rock music was "a product of decaying Western culture"), so these groups coined the term vocal-instrumental ensemble, or, in abbreviated form, "VIA".
A conversation between leading transmission producer, Fyodor Khitruk and National Artist, Oleg Tabakov brings us back to the music of Soviet cartoons including excerpts from their favorites:

What? It's Lindsay Lohan dressed as a nun holding a huge and phallic pistol. Yeah, it looks like she might put it in her mouth, but surely she's only kidding. She's a responsible adult.
William Tell Overture What? It's Lindsay Lohan holding a bow and arrow. She does have it pulled back a bit far, and she's not really holding the business end of it correctly, but surely nobody's in danger. She's a responsible adult.
What? It's Lindsay Lohan behind the wheel of a car. Surely she's a responsible driver. There there, she's exited the vehicle, we're past the danger. And now look, she's picking up, what's that—a guitar? Run for your lives!

Bailout Package We've mentioned cam girl Viorotica before—something came over the Girlwatcher Twitter feed today that made us a bit sad: Save Violet. Turns out the little cutiepie is in debt to the tune of $15,000 and she could use a few sawskis from you, you big burly man. OK, you're thinking, but why would I want to save Violet? Why is her debt special? Times are tough enough, and it's not like I'm Daddy Warbucks here. Here is why you want to save Violet.
That's right, reach for that credit card...nice and slow...
Exo-sexual And this is just frickin' weird—we're wrapping up the column, and we've just decided to use this cute picture of Viorotica with Iron Man when another Tweet piques our interest. It's @KatieBanksDD, informing us she has a new blog post—those are usually good. Click. This one is called "A Little Toy sized friend" and strangely enough she is not referring to something you buy at an adult novelty store. Turns out Katie has the hots on for Iron Man as well. St. Patrick's day came and went last week with nary a mention here—hey, if the material isn't there we can't make stuff up. (Although here is a noble effort from a couple years back.) Yet at the very moment we were not reporting on St. Patrick's Day nudity, model Katie Banks was doing her best to make some. Enjoy her wearing, and then not wearing, a St. Pat's Day-themed T-shirt. See, that wasn't so difficult, was it?
Arty T&A mag alert: S Magazine
Babelogs were buzzing last week with some excellent photos of Olivia Drouot, a French model. She is indeed something to see, but the pics aren't new—these scans from S Magazine issue #5 quietly hit the interwebs back in August. The publication is now up to issue #10—this time featuring the pointy nipples of Charlotte Kemp Muhl, among others.

File this one under obvious: You're a model named Alice, and there's an Alice in Wonderland movie in theaters. Get yourself into a magazine, honey, with some sort of Alice in Wonderland theme. Well theme is overstating it, as Zoo admits: "Alice's Wonderland" / *By which we mean her massive boobs of course. Wonderland=boobs? Doesn't make sense, but somehow it just works.
