Laurie Pepper is working on the New Art Pepper album, Volume V in the collector's series of Unreleased Art. Recorded in Stuttgart, Germany in May of 1981 with celebrated "comeback band" of Milcho Leviev, Bob Magnusson, Carl Burnett, to be released in May 2010, with wonderful photos and Laurie's "gossipy, somewhat paranoid, and compulsively readable" liner notes. Audio quality is excellent, and the band is hot, hot, hot. Featured song is "For Freddie," written and published by Art Pepper, Arthur Pepper Music. Apologies for ending the music abruptly.
